DBT-Informed Parent Coach

Helping You Create Actionable Plans Rooted in Empathy
Every neurodivergent child is unique, and so is their path to success. I specialize in helping parents create structured yet flexible action plans to support growth while keeping their children engaged and motivated. Whether it’s setting goals, managing roadmaps, or celebrating wins along the way, I work alongside families to make the journey feel achievable. I also know how to rally a support team—from teachers to specialists—to ensure that everyone is invested in and excited about your child’s progress.
In addition to my lived experience, I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a framework that has been incredibly valuable in my own life. I incorporate DBT strategies to help families and individuals navigate emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal challenges—essential tools for both parents and children working through the complexities of neurodivergence.
Why I Get It
I’m neurodivergent myself. I was diagnosed with ADHD in college and with Autism a decade later, I understand firsthand what it’s like to navigate a world not designed for neurodivergent minds. My 10-year-old son was diagnosed with ADHD at age 4 and Autism/2e at age 8. Together, we’ve tackled everything from classroom norms and sensory challenges to anxiety and self-advocacy.
I vividly remember struggling with teachers who misunderstood my learning style as disengagement, misinterpreting my lack of eye contact, doodling, or curiosity. Now, I use those experiences to help families bridge the gap between neurodivergent and neurotypical worlds—finding practical, affirming ways to advocate, connect, and thrive.
Life Outside of Coaching
I live in Seattle with my neurodivergent family of three. My career spans tech, management consulting, and chief of staff roles, giving me a strategic yet deeply personal approach to problem-solving. I hold an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics from Michigan State University.
